Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) update for 2026, 2027 and 2028
The plan contains 8 newly allocated substances and 20 substances already included in the previous CoRAP 2025-2027 update
15 Apr 2026The Community rolling action plan (CoRAP) update for the years 2026-2028 lists 27 substances suspected of posing a risk to human health or the environment, for evaluation by 8 Member State Competent Authorities, under the substance evaluation process of the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (Articles 44 to 48).
Out of the 27 substances to be evaluated, 17 are to be evaluated in 2026 (including one group), 9 in 2027 and 1 in 2028 and the remaining 1 substance of the 20 substances listed in the previous CoRAP 2025-2027 update is withdrawn from CoRAP because substance evaluation has been considered currently of low priority or unnecessary as the available data are considered sufficient to clarify the initial concern.
However, for substances listed for years 2027 and 2028, changes can be introduced in the next CoRAP update in 2027.

Please note that the CoRAP is not a ‘blacklist’, but a system used to assess and gather further information on the substances listed in it, where there is a suspect that they may cause a risk to human health or the environment.
The assessment may also conclude positevely without requiring further action.
If, however, the initial concern is confirmed, the Member State may consider certain risk management options such as a new proposal for harmonised classification, new restrictions, new OELs, etc., which would, however, be manage with in different processes.
